How to Choose the Right Umrah Package

A simple framework for comparing hotels, dates, meal plans and pricing — so you can book with confidence.

With several Umrah packages to choose from, it helps to compare them against a consistent set of criteria rather than price alone. Here's the framework we'd recommend.

1. Start With Your Dates

Your available travel window will usually narrow the choice quickly. Compare our current Umrah packages against your calendar — including any work or school holiday constraints.

2. Compare the Nights Split

Packages divide your stay differently between Makkah and Madinah. If you have a personal preference for spending more time at the Haram versus Masjid an-Nabawi, check the nights breakdown on each package page carefully.

3. Check the Meal Plan

"With breakfast," "half board" and "room only" all affect your daily costs once you're there. If you'd rather have meals sorted in advance, look for packages with fuller board options — our Ramadan Umrah package, for instance, includes Suhoor in Makkah.

4. Understand Sharing Options

Double, triple and quad sharing significantly affect the per-person price. Quad sharing is usually the most cost-effective option for families or groups of friends travelling together.

5. Confirm What's Actually Included

Visa, airfare and transfers should be included as standard — if a price looks unusually low, check carefully what's actually covered. We only publish confirmed hotel names and prices; where a package is still being finalised, we say so rather than guess.

6. Ask About Anything Unclear

If a package page doesn't answer your question, that's exactly what our team is there for — contact us directly and we'll talk it through.

Frequently Asked Questions

Is a more expensive package always better?

Not necessarily — it usually reflects hotel category, proximity to the Haram, or meal plan. The "right" package depends on your priorities and budget.

Can I mix and match elements of different packages?

In many cases, yes. Contact our team with what you'd like to combine and we'll see what we can arrange.

Package details, availability, hotel arrangements, flight schedules and prices are subject to confirmation at the time of booking. Please contact our team for the latest information.
