Umrah Packages from London: Complete Guide

What London-based pilgrims should know before booking — from choosing a departure to understanding what's actually included.

Booking Umrah from London gives you access to a wide range of package options, but it also means comparing offers from many different agents. Here's what to look at, based on how we structure our own packages at Royale Hajj & Umrah, based in Ilford, London.

Start With Your Travel Dates

Umrah can be performed at any time of year, so your dates are usually the first filter. School holidays, work leave and the Ramadan calendar all affect pricing — Ramadan Umrah packages, for example, are priced significantly higher due to demand. See our current Umrah packages for confirmed 2026/2027 departure dates.

Understand What "Included" Actually Means

A genuine Umrah package should include return flights, Makkah and Madinah hotel accommodation, visa processing, and transfers between the airport and both cities. Always check the meal plan too — "with breakfast" and "full board" make a real difference to your daily budget once you're there.

Visa Requirements

UK travellers can perform Umrah on either the Saudi ETA visa or the Saudi Tourist visa, depending on their passport. This is included as standard in our packages, and our team provides guidance through the documentation process. Note that Nusuk is the official Saudi platform used for Hajj permits, not Umrah — see our Nusuk support page if you're booking Hajj.

Booking as a Family or Group

Most packages offer double, triple and quad sharing, which changes the per-person price considerably. Quad sharing is usually the most economical option for families travelling together.

Working with a London-Based Agent

One advantage of booking with a UK-based company is being able to speak to someone directly — by phone, email or in person — rather than relying solely on an overseas call centre. Our office is at 180 C Cranbrook Road, Ilford, London.
